The localization is performed using two complementary digital signals (S1 and S2) sent to the onboard calculator. A RS422 serial link is used to transmit data (Data_Tx_422) to the onboard calculator. These functions ensure localization in real time. The system uses two working frequencies: 125 kHz un-modulated transmitter for remote powering of beacons, and 6.78MHz receiver for data reception. The Beacon Localization Reader has an auto-test system that can be activated by a command through the supervisor serial link (CdeTest_RS422).
For applications limited to safety and accurate detection without a serial link, one digital output indicates the correct working state of the Beacon Localization Reader (BF). It also has three digital outputs. The first indicates the correct working state of the Beacon Localization Reader (BF), the second the presence of the 125 kHz (Pres125kHz) and the last the presence of a beacon in the field of the reader (Pres6,78MHz).
